Dr. Nolan says this is the only case of Corona that we want in our office.  If you have a sore throat, cough, shortness of breath or feel "fluish" then you might have a case of Corona.  If you have any of these symptoms, please wait in your car for a provider to attend to your medical needs in the parking lot.

Thank you for your cooperation.

COVID-19

OFFICE VISITS

If you have any type of upper respiratory symptoms we do ask that you call us upon arrival at 451-9296.  Please wait in your car until you are called to come into the office.  The medical assistants will call you and go over some screening questions with you.  They will then ask you to wear your mask and come into the building.

If you have any symptoms of Covid-19 we ask that you stay in your car and do not  come into the office.  Your visit will take place in the parking lot with the staff in full PPE to eliminate exposure.

LAB VISITS

Please wear your mask and come into the building.  Step to the front desk to let us know you have arrived.

We strive to keep the family atmosphere in family practice. Most of our staff have worked here for at least 10 years. We think we have the best staff of any primary care office in the city. All of them have understood from day one that the care we provide to our patients is our #1 priority. The excerpt from our office policy manual is below:

"A Patient" What is a patient? A patient is the most important person in our practice. A patient is not an interruption of our work; he or she is the purpose of it. A patient is not dependent upon us; we are dependent on him or her. We are not doing the patient a favor by serving him or her; the patient is doing us a favor by providing an opportunity to serve him or her. A patient is not an outsider in our business; he or she is our business. A patient is not a cold statistic; he or she is a flesh and blood human being, a human being with biases, prejudices, feelings and emotions like our own. A patient is not someone to argue with or match wits with, or try to outsmart; no one ever won an argument with a patient. A patient is a person who brings us his or her wants. It is our job to handle his or her requirements so pleasantly and so helpfully that the patient will return again.

Dr. Nolan is an avid University of Louisville fan and specializes in these areas:

He is certified in the use of the Recode Protocol which is a directed way of changing one's lifestyle, removing inflammatory, toxic or infectious roadblocks and optimizing one's chemistry such that the brain is able to shift from a process that is diminishing one's cognition to a process that enhances it. By following this protocol one can reverse cognitive decline and prevent the progression to Alzheimer's Disease.

He is also certified in the use of Havening Technique. This is a psycho-sensory treatment that uses gentle touch to eliminate unwanted feelings, physical and emotional, stemming from distressing past events and memories. As such, anxiety and panic attacks can often be greatly reduced - phobias can oftentimes be completely resolved. The nice thing about this particular technique is that it does not involve an in-depth discussion of the past traumas. In fact, the actual content of the traumas does not even have to be divulged.
